Wow. I can't believe it. Talk about cenorship. I can't believe someone got suspended at a school for expressing his feelings about the school! How disgusting!
Harvard student newspaper was reprimanded by the administration. The paper had published an editorial cartoon that mare a snarky comment about the slow and cumbersome registration process and the clerical union objected. It turns out the student journalists had violated the rights of university employees.
The suspended student was under a an ethics agreement with his dentistry school (as many of us are through employment or membership in a club or association). While malicious slander and libel is illegal and unethical, being a grouch and letting off steam isn't. However, the journal entries seem to have offended their subjects, and under today's academic standards, they no doubt felt that anything that offended them was if not a hate crime, was at the very least unethical and deserved retribution.

well I can sort of see where they are coming from on a public newspaper but how can you expel someone over their personal diary??
