Hey Kids, Have Fun with Crypto Cat!

The National Security Agency has a great web site for kids at http://www.nsa.gov/kids/index.htm.
Crypto Cat's trench coat has been traded in for a trench coat. There are are puzzles and codes to crack, though I was disappointed there were no instructions teaching children how to intercept their parent's communications.

Sweet! But I`m concerned about the implications of the mascot being a cat. Are we sending the wrong signals to our children? Telling them that cats are sneakier than dogs??? I think if we start this kind of prejudice, where will it stop??!

Heh just kidding...check this out - http://www.dare.com/kids/index_3.htm

Cats are incredibly devious and cunning. I have one who hides when I do the bedroom cat sweep before retiring, and she only comes out and jumps on me after I've gone to sleep. Uh-oh, I'm feline profiling, aren't I?

Hey kids, dare you to narc out your parents!
